I’m a huge fan of desktop wallpapers! I can’t get enough and have wasted countless hours changing the wallpaper on my computers. My favorites are usually nature photography, asbstracts and science fiction but today I ran across a sports wallpaper that caught my attention. Most sports wallpapers that I’ve seen are bland and lifeless…they are normally little more than press photos of athletes in action.

The UNC 2009 Football Schedule wallpaper is brilliant. The image is dynamic and uses color to draw your eye to the scene of the action. The designer, Antonio Tucker, uses a great effect on the tagline and then incorporates the tag line into the image instead of just slapping it on the design as an after thought.

My hat is off to Mr. Tucker for this great piece of design work and it now graces my desktop.
